Un Dia is a character-driven social realism drama exploring the moral conflicts of immigration enforcement, family bonds, and generational trauma.
The short film explores the lives of immigration enforcement agents, highlighting the stark contrast between their personal relationships and the realities of their work. A family is shaken when children witness their friends detained, exposing the moral conflict between duty and compassion. Another agent’s private faith and rituals reveal an inner struggle that contrasts with the harshness of his professional role. A third storyline connects past experiences of political persecution with present-day enforcement, showing how history and memory echo across generations.
